For commodity and hedge fund products, we use:
- MeasureRisk. This software system is capable of tracking the risk exposures of single funds or an entire fund program to help understand the interaction of different investments and their impact on portfolio risk. It also provides our analysts with the ability to calculate value-at-risk and generate simulations that can help us understand the risk to the fund based on a variety of scenarios from historically extreme market events.
For databases, we use:
- eVestment Alliance and Eureka Hedge Databases which contain information on thousands of hedge fund, commodity, and traditional asset products, including performance, strategy, and manager information.
- PerTrac serves as a front-end analytical engine. This tool can calculate performance and risk statistics and separate performance by market conditions, while comparing the fund to relevant benchmarks.
