At EnnisKnupp, we understand that each client has a unique situation. Therefore, our approach to portfolio policy and strategy begins by analyzing the role of real estate/real assets within the total program, structure, investment restrictions, risk tolerance, and investment objectives that apply to a client’s existing portfolio. While all strategies within real estate have the potential for compelling returns, we realize that not every opportunity is appropriate for every client portfolio.

Our approach weighs a number of quantitative and qualitative factors in devising real estate investment policy and strategy:

  • Maintenance of a long-term perspective, especially with return targets, capital needs, and liquidity
  • Emphasis of risk control, including targets and ranges, and diversification
  • Balance of staff resources and investment needs
  • Measurement of success through benchmarking
