EnnisKnupp has made a substantial commitment to research and analytics to monitor investment performance and characteristics. We have a proprietary process for real estate performance reporting and a Sunguard Investran system to house historical information for performance and analytical reporting.
Our quarterly real estate performance reports are customized for each individual client’s needs across format, return formulas and compounding frequencies, and other performance metrics. Our system tracks investment characteristics so that we report and attribute performance. In addition, the system is able to track at multiple levels of the investment – portfolio, program, manager, and property (which can accommodate separate accounts). We also provide analysis of portfolio compliance relative to policy constraints.
The team also employs a number of internal and third party databases to track and evaluate investments.
- Our proprietary real estate research database is also housed in the Investran platform and customized to our in-house needs. This database is central and crucial to our research, due diligence, and monitoring process.
- Third party product databases are used to enhance our proprietary database. These databases contain information on thousands of real estate products, both past and present.
- Third party market and transaction databases provide information both at a macro and micro level.
