General Consulting

Overview

In today’s complex financial environment, institutional investors face a variety of challenges in managing their investment programs due to the proliferation of new investment managers, strategies, and financial instruments. EnnisKnupp provides a full range of investment program consulting services to help clients navigate this changing landscape.

At EnnisKnupp, we partner with clients and serve as an extension of their staff. We do not see our role as showing up to periodic meetings to present performance numbers and pontificate on market trends. Rather, we engage in constant ongoing communications with clients so that we know about changes and developments as they occur. We invest our time, ask relevant questions, and listen carefully to what our clients tell us. This enables us to help adapt clients’ investment programs over time to evolving circumstances and preferences.

Our Strengths
The foundation of our long-standing client relationships is built upon these key characteristics:

  • Complete Independence. Investment consulting is all we do, so no other businesses compete for our resources or present conflicts of interest. Importantly, we also remain financially independent of the organizations we may be asked to review.
  • Rigorous Research. We regularly conduct and publish research across a broad range of topics that are highly relevant to institutional investors and that expand the areas of expertise that we can bring to our clients.
  • Custom Solutions. The advice we provide our clients reflects our basic values, but we never take a “cookie-cutter” approach. We design custom solutions tailored to the unique situations and goals of each individual client.

The Clients We Serve
We intentionally seek out a variety of clients, including:

  • Endowments, Foundations, and Not-for-Profit Organizations
  • Public Funds
  • Defined Benefit Plans
  • Defined Contribution Plans
  • Taft-Hartley Plans
